About Me
My name is Luke Selker. I grew up in Appleton, and I am so glad to be back in Wisconsin after studying and performing for so many years!
 
I hold a Masters Degree of Music from Florida State University, and my Bachelor's Degree of Music from Belmont University. Performance credits range from AGMA professional mainstage opera roles, symphony engagements, musical theater, and more. I have a tremendous love of music, and singing in particular. While I enjoy performing, my deepest love will always be for multiplying artistry and creativity in our community through teaching students to sing, act, play piano, and to express themselves artistically.I am a firm believer in empowering students to not only learn how to be musically expressive and technically excellent, but to also foster a deeper knowledge in them that encourages and enables them to be self-directed, knowledgeable, and confident in their own study when they are away from me. Many genres of music feel like home to me, though classical music is my specialty. Any genre of music can be optimized with excellent technique to be healthier, more efficient, more powerful, and more sustainable over a lifetime of singing.

Beginner-Intermediate Piano Lessons (Faber Method: Primer Level - Level Five)
Coaching for Actors
and Music Theory Tutoring
 
I teach children from around age 6-8 and up. All studio services are charged at a flat rate, contact me for the current student rates!

Payments may be made via cash, check (to Selker Music Studio), or via Venmo
After a regular lesson schedule has been established, students are asked to pay lesson fees on a semesterly basis to keep all of our lives simpler.

 Selker Music Studio is located at 1529 N. Harriman St. in Appleton, WI. 

When you arrive at the property, just walk down our driveway and through the gate, you'll see the studio door and sign!
